Uchu Sentai Kyuranger

Here's the current Super Sentai team, the constellation-based, space traveling, resistance fighter all-stars themselves, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger!

This is a huge team.  There's a bunch of 'firsts' that I'm really not gonna mention because w/e, we've all noted them before now.  I love it all, don't get me wrong, it's glorious, but it would've been great if I could've wished it done rather than put in the effort and hours.  I don't really know which suit is my favorite because they've all got some aspect that I really like.  I will say, the one thing I'm still not a fan of is the lipped mouthpieces.  But since they're colored, they blend away nicely.  

Now normally, it's basically one male base suit and one female base suit for the starting team. Easy, peesy  This time, I had to make the basic male suit (Red, Orange, Yellow, Silver), the furry male suit (Blue-maybe the worst part), the armored male suit (Gold), a redone bulkier male template and bulked up armor (Black), and the basic female suit (Green and Pink).  So what normally takes a small amount of time to make two base suits for a starting team was thrown out the damn window making five starting suits and amending a template.  

Their changers have the handle flipped down because I think it looks better that way and I honestly couldn't find any consistency in pictures of when it's supposed to be up or down...so, artist's choice.  The star/nebula/space pattern in their visors took a lot of trial and error but I think I've got a result I'm pretty happy with.  Hopefully I can remember how I did it later on since I had to do it nine damn times. It's a cool effect where the visors look dark from afar, but upon zooming in, you see stars and lights and whatnot twinkling in space.  Pain in the ass to make, but it wouldn't be accurate without some attempt.  Their symbols were a bit rough to make, I had originally made them too small so had to resize and re-pixel them again.  But they look good now.

For the keen-eyed out there, some of the colors used here have been changed from my previous works.  I'm kinda undergoing a recolor project for the Sentai pieces to make reds redder, greens greener, etc. etc.  So the various group pics will be update once I've finished all the recolors.
