Requested: Power Rangers ESP

The whole theme revolves around psychics and animals. The symbol of the team is the 'all-seeing eye', and they have the letters ESP emblazoned on their belts. I imagine, if there was a Sentai equivalent, the ESP would stand for their name, with the S being 'Sentai', maybe the E being Ectoplasm and the P being Psycanger. Or something.

There's the Red Longhorn Ranger, Black Orca Ranger, Yellow Stallion Ranger, Blue Wolf Ranger, Pink Hummingbird Ranger, and the Bandit Ranger (raccoon themed).

With the theme of psychics, the all-seeing eye is repeated in their design. Namely on their chests, but there's a smaller version on their helmets. And the eye shape is repeated on their boots and gloves. The main thing I was trying to go for with these was eerie and kinda ghostly. This is why the team has a desaturated version of their main color as accenting their arms and chests (and legs for the girls), to play on the foggy/somewhat mystical/shady aspect. This is also why silver play a large part of an accent color instead of white or gold. White and gold in Sentai/PR designs, to me, have always been more 'good guy, heroic' colors. Since this team is shady, psychic, able to reach the other side, etc., I didn't think it would make sense for them to have more traditional accent colors.

The cuffs on the boots and gloves were kind of modeled after older, large, shackles. I'd imagine the morph sequence would involve chains attached to these shackle-like features. You could also interpret it as the chains pulling half of the body into the 'great beyond'/death, while the chains on the other side of the body stay tethered to Earth/life; i.e. the rangers walk the boundary between the two realms. Each of the helmets' "eyes" is a dark violet color (except Bandit who has dark brown eyes), again kinda creepy rather than bright orange, green, yellow, etc. (like eyes often are on Sentai helmets). They're just meant to look kinda creepy and ghostly with the grayish color scheme and all the eyes. And I think the lack of lips on the mouth plates kinda works here, to almost dehumanize the team.
