Bousei Sentai Kachuuger

Pretty late here with the "PMC daily celebration" but whatever.  Baddies take a while.  These are a set of evil rangers to conflict with the crowdsourced sentai ranger team.  You can see the heroes here:

Their name is Bousei Sentai Kachuuger (暴政戦隊カチュウジャー, lit. Tyranny Squadron Elite-ger) to be an antonym of the heroes' "Voting Squadron Crowd-ger".  The name is also just kinda a fun opposite in the sense that I made all the decisions rather than letting people vote, eschewing democracy mwhaha.  If there is some storyline, these guys are evil through and through with no chance of redemption.  Pure baddies.  Though black is basically their main color, they're evil, so their roll calls use the same colors as the core five, but swapped with their motifs:

Scorpion Red
Centipede Blue 
Tarantula Yellow
Crab Green
Widow Violet

As you can see, their motif is other arthropods that are NOT hexapods/insects.  So we've got a few arachnids (spiders and scorpion), a myriapod (centipede), and a crustacean (crab).  I wanted weird things that would look fine in black and the gross grayish accent color.  So these creepy crawlies all made sense to use.  I also really didn't want to use all arachnids though that could've been possible. 

These have the same sash design as the core with armor atop.  However, they're all about sharp and jagged lines unlike the heroes where things kinda feel more right-angley and open.  The "legs" on their sashes do get one more on each side to play into the number eight rather than six.  However, the number eight limbs wasn't really a requirement when choosing arthropod motifs.  The sashes don't mean much more than showing rank by colored bits.

These guys are all dark and gloomy and as such, only get to have three colors on their suits as opposed to five used in the hero core team.  I looked to Nejiranger for the dominant black color scheme with their individual colors (same as the core five like Nejiranger) playing a more accenting color role.  Also like Nejiranger is their visors and lower helmets being identical, but I went ahead and differentiated their helmet crests.  Ranks are the same as the core team.  Black visors came back to further separate them as evil, and since black is basically their main color, it works out.  The helmets are kinda my favorite part because it was a fun challenge making their pseudo crowns and differentiating them between one another.

Oh, and they don't get a big symbol above them because they're baddies and don't deserve one.  The symbol on the belt is basically just cracked though.
