Apparently stuff like this is OK?
kamen-riders.deviantart.com/
I can't find a single thing in that gallery that wasn't taken from another website, be it an English toku blog (or several), Gaim's production website, actors/actress' personal social media account, etc. Everything is stolen. Nothing was created by the user. I don't get it. He's not fooling anybody in thinking he created those pictures, right? Is anybody able to explain why that user is allowed to have an account? If no, I recommend everybody start reporting the user and any images you can prove are stolen.
And as a final piece of information: when I asked that user if anything in his gallery was actually his or if he had permission to post ANYthing in his gallery, I was ignored and blocked. Innocent people in the clear don't sweep things under the rug.
Please and thank you.

2023 Reading Challenge - 3rd Year Running
The last three years I've been challenging myself to read more. I've got a bunch on my bookshelves now, which is really fun to look at. And for the second year running, I've eclipsed the previous year's total: in 2022 I read 45 books; in 2023, I've read 50. Just shy of one per week! Taking a few longer vacations surely helped carve out more time for relaxing and reading. I've started branching out from the previous M.O. of looking to award winners, looking more at authors I've enjoyed the last few years and taking recommendations from friends. Like last year's summary, I'm not a literary analyst so I'm binning these books in four categories: two recommends and two not recommends. A few entries get an additional lil blurb. Loved and Recommend: Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman The Dresden Files (1-15) by Jim Butcher (will finish the series as-is in 2024) Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke Jade City, Jade War, Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee (possibly my new favorite
Another Infographic Admin Question
K so. On this gigantic all sentai/ranger infographic AKA the one with broader inclusions, I had an idea based on some comments. You can find it here: Is there merit in adding another row at the bottom, separated and below the ally/support characters...for transforming villains. Now, when I say 'transforming villains' I mean a very specific category, not meant to be wholly inclusive of everysingledamnvillain in the franchise. It would be URRRT-Villains: UnRedeemed, Recurring, Regularly-Transforming Villains (I know, I know, I need to work on coming up with better acronyms!). This would be for villains which have a human and a fully face-covered transformed form, both of which have at least three appearances in their respective show/crossovers, which the character regularly transforms between. It would not include villainous/evil armors which have multiple human-faced users; it would not include human disguises; it would not include villains permanently transformed from
A few admin questions
I have a few questions and am looking for input. I asked the first as a status earlier this week but figured it might get more engagement here. Thanks for the earlier in put there, tho. *Question 1: The Stage Show Rangers need a color cell in the gigantic 'All Sentai/Ranger Infographic'. Some are easier to pin to a single cell than others, and my preference is for a unique color cell not already in use. Chaosryuger (Kyoryuger) - crimson/other red Yamin #0 (Toqger) - black Dark Shishi Red/Shishi Red Orion (Kyuranger) - hardest to pin; white? gray? Red, black, and crimson are already in use for the series. Ryusoul Moria (Ryusoulger) - silver...maybe gray? Stan Cross (Zenkaiger) - black *Question 2: Were the toy-exclusive RPM Paelomax Rangers ever in a comic? I feel like I saw them in one/on a cover once, but I could be misremembering as I haven't been able to find any confirmation. I kinda thought they were included in the varying "all colors flying out from the center" covers
2022 Challenge - Read More (...again)
Like last year, I set myself the challenge of reading more in 2022. It wasn't a resolution this time, just a personal challenge to read more books in 2022 than I had in 2021. All totaled, in 2021 I read 20 books. In 2022, I read 45! Sooo, crushed it! Similar to last year, I pulled largely from award winners, looking at various winners/nominees across 10 or so awards. I also snagged a couple from friend/family recommendations. Like last year's summary, I'm not a literary analyst so I'm binning these books in four categories: two recommends and two not recommends. Loved and Recommend: Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark Trail of Lightning and Storm of Locusts by Rebecca Roanhorse The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter, European Travel for the Monstrous Gentlewoman, and The Sinister Mystery of the Mesmerizing Girl by Theodora Goss The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi Scythe, Thunderhead, and The Toll by Neal Shusterman Redshirts by John Scalzi The City of Brass, The
