Well, here we go! Most likely my last upload of the year, so I might as well go out with something cool.

These are the heroes of the upcoming Super Sentai series for 2013, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (獣電戦隊キョウリュウジャー). The theme is dinosaurs and electricity, with the dinosaur mechas' powers and/or abilities are contained within electric batteries.

I've decided to update and change their roll calls slightly. Though I'm not exactly a fan of "brave" being used in place of "hero", I'll use it.

"The Winged/Soaring/Thundering Brave Kyoryu Gold!" (Don't actually know what his roll call will be as of this edit, but I'd think something along those lines).

As I'm sure everyone knows by now, and likely found out weeks ago, there is no yellow this year. There hasn't been a yellow senshi since Changeman. And yes, if Saban adapted this series, it would be the first Power Rangers without a yellow ranger. It's a change. I'm not the biggest fan of the change, but I'll get used to it.
As for the rest of the designs. The helmets were a pain to pixel on this scale. Each helmet has a white outline and then some yellow accent for the rest of the mouth or teeth. That was very problematic, but I'm happy enough with how they came out. I do think the negative space with the visor surrounding the faceplate is very weird though. The teeth on red and green were difficult to get to look decent.
The scales on the arms are interesting. I think it's funny that we get pants for the last four years in the design, now we have sleeves. The sash going across the chests is kinda cool. I didn't like it at first, but I like the cleverness of it now. The sash is actually the team's symbol, being a dinosaur's head with teeth. Also, ever notice how asymmetrical sashes in Sentai designs always go from the left shoulder to the right waist? Odd. The symbols in the first 'tooth' are representative of each rangers' dinosaur.
What would be the yellowish amber color on Kyoryu Cyan becomes a faded gold. Cyan is also a heavier fella, so his body is the same base I used for other larger Sentai members like Yellow Owl from Jetman and Kiranger from Goranger. Kinda funny that both the other heavier members are the yellows of their teams, and Kyoryuger has no yellow. I am excited to see future additional Kyoryugers though, that's awesome.
Kyoryu Gold has yet to be revealed in-series. He's apparently a samurai that's been sealed away in Dogold's armor for a few centuries. I like the slight changes to his suit, and love his helmet. And I like that the indigo color isn't over used like with other Sentai golds.

That's pretty much all I've got about these designs. I'm excited to get something new with the tragic awfulness that is Go-Busters. I can't wait for that series to end.

**Updated 4/3/13 with the core five's "Armed On" right arm armor, Kyoryu Cyan, and Kyoryu Gold. Also changed up their belts (slightly) and a few helmet lines.**
