Some Fun With Kyuuranger's Rumors, 'Rocketman'

Well OK, rumors here being more in the singular "rumor" that is just the confirmed name.  Space/planets, fun fun fun.  But really, there's nothing else even rumor-concrete at this point.  So I haven't done one of these in a couple years, figured it could be fun to do again.

"Uchuu" means space.  "Kyuu" can mean any number of things at this point; seems like lots of ppl want it to mean nine rangers, but I just completed a team of 12 and I really just wanted to keep the rangers to planets sans-Earth.  Plus, a meaning of "kyuu" can be globe or sphere, so we'll just say that's the collectible BS gimmick after cubes in Zyuohger.  I fully realize some ppl are gonna moan about this color should be this planet and number and whatnot, but it's my idea so tough luck for you.  Earth is ignored as a possible individual motif because it makes more sense to me if it's the team motif, you know, protecting Earth (typical Sentai) by harnessing the power of the other planets.  The Sun and Moon are ignored as well because well, they're not planets.  However, in my head, the combining robos would have two modes: Solar for attacking and mele combat; and Lunar for defending and ranged combat.  That'd also play into their weapons, but I digress.  Our Solar System only; non-Earth planets only.
Anyway~....

In my head, the first three, "inner planets" are their own starting core joined shortly after the debut ep by the remaining two "classical planets" in early eps. like in Go-Onger; with those five being the more true/traditional core.
Blue Mercury, 1.
Yellow Venus, 2.
Red Mars, 3.
Green Jupiter, 4.
Violet Saturn, 5.

Finally the pair sixth/seventh are the only remaining planets in our solar system.
Orange Uranus, 6.
Indigo Neptune, 7.

Ok, so symbol deciphering.  The individual symbols are all based on their respective planets, but because those aren't all nice and perfectly symmetrical, I took liberties.  A lot.  Within each individual symbol is also one of two team symbols: a gold sphere with a cross, the symbol for Earth.  So in my head, the symbols directly translate the mission of the team: use the powers of other planets to protect the Earth.  The belts' symbols are just telescopes in three sections.  The suits themselves were just meant to look, I dunno, sheik future space?  The helmets all feature the same upward arch to make them all feel old school sentai, with the lower half reflecting their individual symbols ever-so-slightly.  I played around with Uranus/Neptune having a golden visor like actual space suits, but changing all the colors around didn't look great in any combination for me. 

So that's it.  It really shouldn't be too long now til we get actual concrete information and leaked photos.
