Description
Anyway, onto the characters:
Fire-Ninja Captor 7 is the red.
Wind-Ninja Captor 6 is the green.
Gold-Ninja Captor 5 is the yellow.
Ground-Ninja Captor 4 is the brown.
Flower-Ninja Captor 3 is the sole female in the pink.
Water-Ninja Captor 2 is the blue.
Thunder-Ninja Captor 1 is the orange.
The colors and bodies are fun because actual Sentai teams don't really play around with this too much, especially early on. I mean, c'mon this team has orange AND brown. And there's a teenage kid in Wind-Ninja Captor 6, so he's a little shorter and slighter than the basic males. And Ground-Ninja Captor 4 is a big ol' boy, and I don't think that size of a body has ever been in an actual Sentai ranger suit. And finally, Water-Ninja Captor 2 is a bit taller than the basic males.
Now the helmets are just ridiculous. Sure, they reflect the individual elements, but it's just sooooooo over-the-top. Scarves seem to be a must in early rider/sentai shows, so it's nice these guys have them too. There actually is a badge decal under the scarves, but I hid it with them. Their belts have discs and pockets on them. I think it would've been cool to see more individual chests like Flower-Ninja Captor 3 has, but that's OK.
Everything here is my hard work. Please don't touch anything without permission. Thanks.
I remember years ago I found a "Super Sentai" team with an Orange and a Brown Ranger, and I thought... "Orange? Cool, But that Brown guy is huge, like Bulk, why didn't they just do him like Justin and make the suit actor a buff adult male?"
And then I thought that it was interesting that they were element based. I remember thinking that instead of Yellow being Steel, Grey could be Steel, and keep him a guy, that way Yellow could be a girl, then I thought that White could be Light and Black would be Darkness, like Yin and Yang or something, the I thought that Purple and Poison would be a great combo. But then I got to the last element I could think of ... Ice, and that its color would be Yellow, my young mind said "Oh no! Don't eat the Yellow Snow!!" lol.
That was around 2001, I wasn't even in high school back then, which now that I'm an adult has a very different meaning, for the "eating" the Yellow Snow, Female Ranger, lol.
But I could never find that show again, so thanks, I'm making a note of this show, as the Only one with a Brown Ranger and the First with an Orange.
